Our preferred method of shipping is through FedEx Priority Overnight. We ship in a medium size box to avoid mishandling for the safety of the fish. You can fit up to 6-8 discus depending on the size. Weight does not affect the shipping cost; the size of the box does. Therefore, there is a flat rate shipping fee regardless of the amount of fish. We do not make any money from the shipping fee; we offer the discount we receive from FedEx to our customers.

We ship through FedEx Priority Overnight delivered right to your door. The discount we receive from FedEx is given to all our customers; we do not make money from shipping. FedEx Priority Overnight charges based on dimensional weight; therefore, the overall weight does not impact the shipping cost. At Pompa's Discus, we use a one size box, which is on the larger end, to avoid mishandling and throwing during transit. The shipping cost of 1-2 discus or 9-10 discus will remain relatively the same through FedEx because this is how they apply their charges. We are not trying to get you to buy more fish, we are just being completely honest with you. Thank you!
